Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp grapeseed oil

  • 2 large sweet onions, thinly sliced

  • 1 Tsp kosher salt, plus more as needed

  • 1 Lb Ground beef, formed into 2 or 3 patties

  • 1 Tsp cracked black pepper, plus more as needed

  • 1/4 cup(s) Better than Good Bacon Jam, as needed

  • 2 bakery hamburger buns, as needed

  • 8 strips fully cooked bacon, plus more as needed

  • 1/4 cup(s) The Jank Original BBQ Sauce, as needed

Directions

  • Preheat grill to medium-high.
  • Meanwhile, place a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add oil, onions and a pinch of salt. Stir-fry 8 to 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Lower heat and continue to cook, stirring frequently, until onions are golden brown and smell sweet. Remove to a serving bowl to cool.
  • Season both sides of burgers with salt and pepper and grill until desired doneness is reached (internal temperature should be at least 155ºF).
  • To assemble burgers, spread bacon jam on bottom bun, and top with meat, caramelized onions, bacon, BBQ sauce and top bun.
